No one understands this better than media thought leader, Jared Brick of Brick House Media Co. Jared has spent a lifetime as a professional career creating media from film photography, to digital photography, then video production, and scaling video for bold businesses with his company now celebrating 10 years! He is again looking for that next way to support professionals with video, get excited!
But first, let’s step back for a moment. Over the wild pandemic years Jared was able to work with hundreds of professionals on thousands of video projects with PitchHub, a local video production in the cloud company. He supported people from CEOs to new hire customers virtually, in–person, on-location, or remotely based on their video needs. He humbly witnessed real tears, frustration, and challenges, as well as, true joy, lots of awkward laughter, (great for bloopers) and so much elation! We’re all learning that video is an emotional roller coaster, and best completed with others… people who can trust to support you!

So to help people, Jared has launched an innovative 2-3 day in-person hands-on video creator training for professionals, college students, and small business teams here in Santa Cruz. There are two paths: one for busy professionals to learn DIY video working from anywhere, and two for people looking to create video production as a side-hustle business for extra income (Day 3 option). Jared has released the dates and affordable prices for April and May for VCTC to help prepare the next generation of video creators right here from our hometown. His experience in teaching is not new, he’s been teaching private media education for almost 20 years, and has already created a recognized high-level online course. In 2018 he created, Break On Through, a 6-week guided journey to transform people from experts into thought leaders via media.
